no idea if this is the right place to post this but if anyone knows the answer to this please help.

"Register to register moves, eg. 'MOV AL, BL' are not supported in the SMZ simulator as used in
classes. In view of this limitation, explain how the contents of the BL register can be copied to AL. "

yup im using that i kind of missed the second semester when that module came out so ive no idea how to do any of that lol but im trying, im reading the second link you gave me now thanks!

long time since I did assembler but I recall pushing a register and then pop it on the other

Looking at the instruction set here, you need to move BL to the working (W) register with:

MOVRW BL

and then move from there to AL using:

MOVWR AL
