Did anybody hear the interview this morning on Newstalk Breakfast I believe from the Chairman of Ireland Offline. Whilst it is a very important issue and worth airtime with the potential price increases for rural broadband users.

Ireland Offline need to get a spokesperson that can actually talk about the subject and to not actually sound like a character from south park. Ummmm Ok out of his mouth every 30 secs.

It got so bad that Chris had to cut the interview short and change the subject.
Terrible waste of an opportunity on the national airwaves.

Yes I heard it and thought it was cringe-worthy. He came across very poorly and was nauseating to listen to.

    Disgraceful interview:mad:

Either the guy was an idiot, ill-prepared, and hadn't a clue about the subject matter, or else he done a great job to kill the interview and dampen public interest.

    Anybody catch his name?

For media-related queries, or to contact the committee of IrelandOffline, please email info@irelandoffline.org. For urgent matters, please call Eamonn (interim spokesperson) on +353 (0)86 250 6350, leaving a voicemail if necessary.

    One would assume its him.

Looks like either by accident or on purpose they've cut the segment. Part 4 starts with the presenter finishing the segment but its not in part 3.

Certainly no accident wiping out because it was so bad.

Its on part 3 8/8/2014 around 19 minutes into part 3. Sounds like the guy just awoke after an all night session and was still in bed half asleep, cringeworthy indeed
