Not when they have an extremely high opinion of themselves and feel that they are not getting what they deserve

I'd hope you're right, but I've been watching this crap too long to be optimistic.

Articles 59 and 86 would appear to be relevant. Will quote the relevant sections myself when I'm at home later on.
As much as many states are eager to kowtow to US gov't demands regarding Israel, I would be somewhat surprised if any EU states were willing to violate an international legal treaty in the process?

Is it all lies, just everything that everyone says?

Except for opinions you agree with? Which morph into fact?

The truth, sometimes, can't be all positive. It's unfortunate, but it's the reality we live in.

I certainly would never take any politician at face value. I wish I had your gullibility, maybe I could sleep easier.

But at the same time you are willing to post a link to a blog by a labour party member who now works for a trade union who quotes anonymous tory backbenchers?

They know themselves best. Politicians are at their most honest when attacking political rivals.

    ?

    Ok so,

Just to avoid fedor2 obfuscation, a member of parliament in the UK has resigned as foreign office minister, she quit because "My view has been that our policy in relation to the Middle East Peace Process generally but more recently our approach and language during the current crisis in Gaza is morally indefensible"

    This occured

Look, the main thing is that this ceasefire is holding, I feel real progress is going to be made in the coming days, and that a lasting truce is within reach.

I think we can all agree that we are moving in the right direction, yes?

At least the terrorist IDF baby killers have stopped the slaughter of innocent men women and children, or is it like the last few cessations when they are just deciding which school or hospital to target next?

Language like that is not helpful. You'd be no good in the negotiations, which we should all pray, are successful.

You're right. She is using poor Israel as a pawn here. What a calculating woman. Especially after all the Jews have been through (obligatory Holocaust reference)

That is completely irrelevant. This a message board, and not peace negotiations.

Having said, I think when negotiating over a piece of land, having one party take more and more of that land, with the stated intent of creating facts on the ground, to diminish the other parties claim on the land is something that has been happening at peace negotiation between the Israeli government and the PA. Yet, the Israeli government claim they have no partner for peace, I would say that its the other way round, on account of the whole land grabbing during peace talk the Israeli government has been at for 20 odds years.

Lol. That was the written equivalent of a missile hitting a UN school

No, and I can't imagine what that's like. Is there a realistic and achievable alternative?

No Israel's actions cannot be forgotten. "Move in the right direction" - means until the Israeli's decide to murder the Palestinians like fish in a barrel again. Then gimps like yourself will be in telling us they have a right to defend themselves. The world is a sad place

I never said anything of the sort, I resent being called a gimp too. There's no need to insult me
