    Hi,

I'm new to online banking. I'm just wondering is there any costs to transferring money from one bank account to another.

If so what are they and do they increase with the amount transferred?

    I'm with Ulster bank btw.

Thanks in advance for any helpful responses.

Firstly, it depends on what Ulster Bank current account product you have. I guess that you probably have the Standard Ulster Bank current account. If so, you pay 4 EUR per month in maintenance fees, unless you meet certain criteria, there are no further charges for each online wire.

Hence, if your transfer is inside the Eurozone or SEPA zone you should not be paying any additional wire fee with Ulster Bank.

Is it all Euro to Euro or are you trying to send to a non euro account?
