Hard Knocks

Checking the Channel 4 TV listings it looks like Hard Knocks is on Sunday 8th at 7.05AM.

Also, looks like Channel 4 will have Sunday night football, the TV listings has Giants at Dallas at 1.15am Sunday night/Monday morning.

Someone usually throws up the full episode on YouTube so it might be worth checking there in a bit.

Forgot this was on and it's the last episode too from an entertaining series. Still think I prefer the Dolphins one (haven't seen the others) by a hair.

I was wondering how many they do. So this is the last then i.e. number 5 right? did they do the same in previous years?

The last episode is always the best! It was a good season, but I found I wasn't as involved with the players stories as much as other years.

Still can't get over why John Conner was cut. I know they said eventually Orson would be the better fullback but I just can't see him learning how to block as well as Conner, it's nearly instinctual.

Yeah, you'd feel fairly dejected alright. I'd say he felt worse being cut by the Jets, at least he was cut by a playoff team this time around!

Can't be easy for fullbacks trying to get work, it's a position which seems to be dying off.

Yep 0130 I see tonight/tue morn. So I guess episode 5 (the only one I didn't see as yet) will be on sat nite/sun morn.

League owners have voted to guarantee Hard Knocks going forward. If a team doesn't volunteer to participate, then one will be compelled to do so. This excludes teams with a new coach and teams that have made the playoffs two years in a row.

Not sure but it's begin suggested that on twitter that the league wants to use hard knock as a way to increase interest in teams that don't have a huge following nationwide, leading to increased interest in their primetime games.

Debuts August 5 on HBO,didn't see when for Channel 4 but probably around the same time as last year I would imagine

Defo Ch4? cos I am checking the Horizon listings and don't see it on Aug 6. Some lad said 1AM on Aug 6 but Poker is listed for that time. And if I have my math correct 1AM Aug 6 would be before it airs on US telly!!.

Ch4.com does have it at 1AM on Aug 6 = mad.
