Can anyone tell me How can I copy programmes stored on a PVR to a DVD disk, is it possible, I used to be able with a Panasonic machine but newer ones wont allow.

    Can't be done .

Some PVRs allow you to copy to a pc if they have Ethernet and a DLNA function. From there you may be able to make a dvd. Generally only SD material can be copied this way. I think Humax models may allow you copy to a Usb that can be used in a pc.

I guess your Panasonic machine was a DVD Recorder with a HDD, not a PVR.
