    no, no anti semitism on this thread, just a majority of people condemning the actions of a state who thinks its okay to kill civilians and use the holicost and persecution of the jews years ago as an excuse for the actions, along with a couple of apologists using the exact same excuses as the state of israel

    As a matter of interest, what do you consider to be the difference between anti-semitism and the racism being shown to the Palestinians by Israel?

    There is a march of solidarity tomorrow in Dublin for the Palestinians at 2pm from The Spire to Israeli Embassy- usually don't really bother with these but ill b up in Dub anyhow as heading to Dara O'Briain so may as well pop along.. hopefully is big crowd and not just the usual "rent a protest" lot

    So those peace loving folks in Israel (government) have rejected a truce proposal. They critisised Hamas for rejecting a ceasefire even though they knew nothing about it and were not invited to the discussion table and then outright refuse a ceasefire that tue Yanks have put forward.

    I wonder how long we will have to wait until we hear about the next bunch of innocent kids who have been murdered. Israel alienating themselves more and more every day with their refusal to reign in the army.

    Israel will call a ceasefire once they have killed over 1000 Palestinians. They will have calculated that's enough. Palestinian life is that cheap to them.

    Killing IDF soldiers is fair game. Directly targeting civilians isn't. Both parties are guilty of doing such. I'm going to wash my hands defending Israel along as their dropping shells on the innocent.

    I am far from a fan of the IDF, but a lot of them are conscripts, who are being made to fight, or they will potentially face jail time from what I understand.

    I would rather they go home to there families, but the simple fact of the matter is that a significant number of the IDF are cold blooded murders, and regardless of Hamas being pretty awful themselves, in this instance, its Israel who are the aggressor.

    Ultimately, the blame falls on Netanyahu, an truly awful man, who chose this war for his own political purposes. IMHO, the man is a sick, twisted, and hateful racist, with the blood of both Palestinians and the Israeli's who have died during this conflict.
