TV/DVD player not reading DVD

Hello, We've have this TV for a while and up until last week, no problems. Now it won't read DVDs . I'm getting a message of "no disc" . I tried a cleaning disc yesterday but the player couldn't read it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like dust build up on and around the lens is the problem. Does the disc tray pop out? In that case give the lens a careful rub with a soft cloth. If there is no pop out disc tray you'll probably have to dismantle the whole thing if you want to clean the lens

No pop out tray unfortunately might have to get the professionals!
