So the point is they are not war crimes until a court is law says they are.
A war crime is a serious violation of the laws and customs of war (also known as international humanitarian law) giving rise to individual criminal responsibility. Examples of war crimes such as:

murdering, mistreating, or deporting civilian residents of an occupied territory to slave labor camps
murdering or mistreating prisoners of war or civilian internees
forcing protected persons to serve in the forces of a hostile power
    killing hostages
killing or punishing spies or other persons convicted of war crimes without a fair trial
wantonly destroying cities, towns, villages, or any object not warranted by military necessity

    Also:
The Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, commonly referred to as the Fourth Geneva Convention and abbreviated as GCIV, is one of the four treaties of the Geneva Conventions. It was adopted in August 1949, and defines humanitarian protections for civilians in a war zone. There are currently 196 countries party to the 1949 Geneva Conventions, including this and the other three treaties.

Israel are one of the 196 countries!

The Israeli siege will end. The Palestinians just need to stop voting for terrorists to govern them and harbouring them.

So the Bin Laden defense again. Your hypocrisy is astounding, you are someone who supports attacks on civilians via the siege and tries to justify it by saying, well they voted for Hamas.

Are you so blinded, that you can't see that Hamas could turn around and justify there attacks, by saying the exact same thing, in regards to the Israeli populace?

As, I said earlier, you don't have a leg to stand on in this debate, you already support attacks on civilians via the siege, and make false claims in regards to people supporting Hamas attacks.

Well, that will certainly make the thread better, seeing we won't have to listen to your rather disgusting support for attacks on civilians via your support for Israel's siege.

I will say one last thing.

Just like Sinn Féin had to distance themselves from the IRA and have the IRA disband and hand over weapons to become a legitimate political party, and for the peace proses to go ahead in the North. So will the Palestinians will have to distance themselves from Hamas.

So Israel should withdraw their armies and stop their rocket attacks too. Or is it just the side that's getting wiped out that have to drop their defence systems?

Your comparing a political party, to a ethnic group. Sorry, but you have completely lost the plot imho, and are further justifying violence against civilians with your nonsense comparison.

Ok, its amazing that I have to explain this:

Ok, so as you can see above, Sinn Fein (a political party), are being compared to Palestinians (a national/ethnic groups) e.g. the poster above states that Palestinians will have to distance themselves, like Sinn Fein did from the IRA. Its comparing a Palestinians (a national ethnic group) to a Sinn Fein (a political party).

As it stands the context of this is the following earlier post:

The above is justifying violence against civilians, specifically the illegal siege, but could be seen as justification of any and all IDF violence against Palestinians.

Same logic could easily be used to justify Hamas rocket attacks, and post like that (have been a few using the same logic) is just making excuses for violence against civilians.

Again, with the sophistry. You know full well, that a war crime can occur or any crime for that matter, without someone being found guilty in a court of law.

    So, again try harder.

So you can't seem to make up your mind, Wes.

Its clear that he was justifying attacks on civilians, per his support for Israel's siege.

Also, a national/ethnic group are not the same as a political party, and that comparison is just the latest in a line of taught to justify attacks on civilians.

Oh please enough with the sophistry, no one is buying it. It is common for people who believe in the rule of law, to use terms like maybe until a court case has happened. Your suggestion are typical of someone losing an argument and just doing there best to frustrate people. I get it, your taking the piss, and looking to get a rise out of people.

If I was asked to imagine a scene in which Wes and Arthur were discussing this it would be Wes as a wizened old man sat in a rocking chair on his porch attempting to explain to the seven year old at his feet how the world works

    Hey arthur say "whhhhhy?"

Israel is alienating the US mainstream media

    http://mondoweiss.net/2014/07/israel-alienating-mainstream.html
It’s happening: we are at last seeing significant American mainstream dissent from the Israeli line during this conflict. There is growing space to voice criticism of our closest friend in the Middle East because of what is widely perceived to be a “disaster” unfolding in Gaza

Where is your reports of the FAA and EASA halting flight travel to Tel Aviv because Hamas is now firing rockets at airplanes and at the airport?

Of course your not. It doesn't gel with your, Israel are murdering terrorists circle jerk.

You guys are something else. Frothing at the mouth for some Israeli blood. Crying out, not enough Israelis are dying.

    Ridicules.
    Israel attacks airports too
In 2006 Israel destroyed the civilian airport in Beiruit.

It's completely unacceptable for either side to target civilian infrastructure but Israel have absolutely no problem with levelling cities and destroying infrastructure if they think it will help their cause
