Jaysus, back at Swansea again. He probably should have went to Liverpool when he had the chance, better career move.

I distinctly remember people making the, But can he do it on a cold, windy Tuesday night at the Britannia joke for Bojan back when he was being touted as a future star due to his underage record.

I think they just love making a "Statement" signing, regardless of how good a player is; I nearly wonder if they're eager to add a few million onto reported fees just to look like they are super-powerful (as if buying one of the player of the tournaments wasn't enough post World Cup).

I think many people will view the Suarez vs Pepe battle as they would a fight between their mother in-law and their boss

Leicester paying £7M for Ulloa. Is that a record for a club in the Championship?

I am talking rubbish, McCormack to Fulham for £11M. Mental money for two players who've never played in the PL though!

Ben Davies was pictured training with Spurs today in Toronto. Strange that he's able to train with them but nothing official as of yet.

He's a class player but I'm not even sure I'd have him in their first team. I'd probably have Alonso, Kroos and Modric as their midfield 3, with James, Khedira and Di Maria as back up and Isco and Illaramendi as back up to the back up. Ridiculous.

I guess Khedira and Di Maria might be let go.

What happened this guy. Couple of years ago he was tipped to be great.

He was brill in FM. You had to sign his dad as a coach first though :pac:

He played too much too early under Rijkaard and then Guardiola. Guardiola wanted him to return to the B team when he became manager.

Bojan didnt want that and insisted he stayed in the first team when he wasnt ready. He thought too much of himself basically, tired out at a young age and didnt think he needed to prove himself to anyone anymore, then he flopped at Roma, AC Milan and Ajax.

And now he's at Stoke.. so yeah...

I was never big on Bojan, there was a lot of hype around him when he was rising through the ranks and after he scored a few goals for the first team in Europe but I wasn't very impressed and didn't buy into the hype. Admittedly sometimes youngsters from Barcelona do receive undue hype as a result of the image these days of being a "Barca youngster" but there are a few coming through now who deserve every bit of hype they receive, Samper, Adama Traore, Munir, Denis Suarez, Kaptoum and the exciting addition of Halilovic are all worthy of excitement.

And he's not really a centre half.

Thats what we get for not strengthening an area with an actual CB for 6 seasons.. Clear as day what our weak spot is

Any idea what happened to him the last few years? Was he injured? I thought he was a very good player before he went to Juve, haven't heard much of him since he moved there.
