Law - Part Time?

    Hi Everyone,

    Does anyone know if its possible to do Law in UCD in a part time / evening basis? Would be as a postgraduate having sat 5 years of Engineering. I know Griffith and DBS do, but seeing as I know the campus etc UCD would be my first choice.

    In case anyone comes across this thread, its my understanding (Open to correction!) that you have three pathways here:

    Firstly, you can do singular 'Professional Developmet' courses that are 10 credits a piece. They are on singular topics and are basically a module from the larger Masters course: http://www.ucd.ie/law/professionaldevelopment/ They are merely to add to your CV and broaden your knowledge in a topic.

    Secondly, you can go ahead and a do a 1 year (Full time) or two year (part time) Masters called an LLM (Masters in Law)

    However neither of these will entitle you to go further i.e. The Kings Inn. To do so, you need to sit a Diploma in Law and on a part time basis, this will probably take you anywhere between 3 and 4 years.
