This place has changed me. Someone emails a panda video and I immediately think 'oh the saps will love this one'. Weird.

Anybody spot Skrtel at 27 seconds in?

Pulling Sterling to the ground, the man is a liability i tells ya:pac:

Whats the issue with long hair ? I've never got that?

Only a positive as far as i'm concerned.

I was thinking the opposite. Think it's being blown out of proportion. Sure he's a big loss, but we've got the second best striker from last year...who missed a large section through injury.

You have Suarez on the pitch alongside Sturridge, you are going to have half the team concerned with where Suarez is and what he is doing.

This frees up far more space for Sturridge to be effective. Without Suarez, teams will be able to focus more on marking Sturridge.

This is putting aside the effect Suarez' determination, hunger and overall influence he has in every game he played for the most part.

Going to be a huge huge loss and if Liverpool don't take advantage of the previous season we just had in the transfer market, then we are going to fall back into the mix for fourth place.

Chelsea and Arsenals first 11 is now much stronger than our first 11 with the deals they have done and the deals we have done.

Liverpool linked now with isco. A player I would love too see play for us..What's yeer opinions?

I've seen reports linking us to him since the start if year, though mostly lazy space fillers. The numbers quoted seem bonkers for what he's achieved though (mid 30 millions). What would Madrid likely let him go for and is he worth it?

We have a chance if they look like getting James Rodriguez. Still unlikely though.

Not saying he'll be at Liverpool, but I can't see Isco being at Madrid next season. With Kroos and potentially Rodriguez coming in, and considering he could barely get a look in last year, he must be on his way out.

Everyone saying Isco didn't get a look in last season. He played in 53 games last season

@RichardBuxton_: #LFC set to sell Fabio Borini to Sunderland for a reported £14M. Tidy 3M profit for a player that never lived up to his manager's billing.

A good move for Borini. They seem to idolise him there.

I like the guy. Unlucky with injuries with us.
Hope he does well if he goes to Sunderland.

    Oussama - 7 million. Borini - 14 million

    Nice business there.

No disrespect to Borini but it shows you what 15m gets you these days. Transfer fee going mental. Borini not worth that

    Tony Barrett just confirmed it
Sunderland have agreed a fee with Liverpool for Fabio Borini. The deal will be worth up to £14m if Borini can agree personal terms.

We will surely buy 2 strikers with only Sturridge & Lambert as our 2 strikers.

Replacing Borini with Remy for no outlay would be great

I took plenty of stick when i said Borini would never be good enough for Liverpool. Thats the way it goes. He will fight like a dog in the street for the team he plays for, which is great, ultimately not good enough for where LFC want to be.

All the best to him, it wasnt for lack of effort. I expect theres far less than 14m up front.

Bringing in Remy now would be great, hopefully along with another striker of similar calibre.

£21 million for Assaidi and Borini along with the Suarez money leaves us with £90m+ still to spend, if reports can be believed.
Seems plausible enough. Team should look something like this come September:

    Mignolet
    Aurier--Lovren--Sakho--Davies
    Pogba
    Vidal
    Reus
    --Sanchez
    Suarez
    Remy

    Looking nailed on now.

    Borini to Sunderland for £12-14m?

Now that really is showing excellent movement that he was always associated with.

"Liverpool sell Borini for 14m and replace him with Remy for 8m"

Hope it works out and is not another

"Incredible piece of business by Chelsea selling Sturridge for 12m and replacing him with Ba for 7.5m"

    Any news, any bantz?

    Not being online all day

Borini to Sunderland? fair enough but what was the point signing him?

With him, Aspas and Suarez gone we need at least 2 forwards.

    Get the finger out lads

I got stick for saying the same. Borini has a likable character and has some great traits, but his finishing was poor and at no point did I ever see a player who would score 15+ goals in a season for us. With the likes of Ibe showing more as an impact player off the bench, then it makes no sense to keep Borini around.

its a great fee for somebody that was barely going to play all season.
