Transfer to Ucd from another college

hi,

has anyone any experience in transferring from another college to UCD, i have just found out that it is possible to transfer. I am in maynooth as a mature student and live in dublin city. it would save me alot of money and time by been able to transfer to ucd. i got a minimum 2.1 in all my first year results and all modules were similar.

I would like to apply to transfer into 2nd year of the course, social science. any info would be much appreciated, thank you all

You can apply to transfer but there is no guarantee your application will be accepted. You apply to Admissions first and they then send it to the School you are applying to for consideration.
I think you are too late for this year the closing date was the 1st of July, however on the the website it says special late applications may be considered up until 22nd of July. You need to contact the admissions office to see if you can apply admissions@ucd.ie
