I think this is quiet amusing

I'd say he's more so talking about the mountains where they regularly reach north of 70mph on 23mm tyres where a light helmet and a thin layer of Lycra.

I love Irish road racing, had the shock of my life the first time I went to skerries but what the pro tour riders do is just as crazy.

    That video is retarded.

Or that :P the socket would be better because I'd have to "modify" the spanner and well yeah don't really want to do that

That's making very little of the road racers in fairness, they have much much more to deal with!

And good spray of wd-40 the night before. I find If you put a bit of pressure on the spanner and tap the end of it gently with a hammer about 20/30 times it should come loose.

Worth a go, the sockets are about 20 quid. I've gotten 2/2 out so far:). Just gradually start hitting it a bit harder with the hammer. Hope the back gets well soon, nothing worse.

Feckin picked up a part worn tyre last week of a guy on adverts without realising it's a run flat. It a 2011 b'stone turanza 205-55-16 with 6mm of thread. There's not a mark on it. Send an aul PM if your interested.

Been there, I know them feels my friend, not nice :(

Gunk to add to the list of petrol, diesel, paraffin, thinners and bead seal. The worst was the bead seal, rancid tex based stuff from the 70's. It glued my eyes shut for a few hours. I honestly thought I had gone blind. A horrible feeling no one should ever experience
