WTF, is "Brukes" bringing in bags of gold and giving them all to us or something ? As that's the impression this fella has anyway.

If the promoters had any cop on they should have organised it ,the way Bruce Springsteens concerts were organised last year, have some in Cork, Limerick and maybe Kilkenny/Dublin, better spread less hassle for all concerned...

"bringing money in to the country" I`m pretty sure Garth Brooks & co would be taking a large proportion of the tickets sales out of the country

To get a text poll on Liveline, all you have to do is ask.
Someone go on tomorrow and ask for Enda to quit

But then the money doesn't get to spend as long in a bank gaining interest.

Some of these money and jobs at all costs remind me of a conversation that I had with a publican at Limerick Junction back in the 1980s - she wanted Ireland to offer the USA alternative bases for their Cruise missiles if protesters closed Greenham Common.

Do you think Dublin City Council was right to comply with the law? Text Y or N

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

This is going to be the most biased text poll ever.......shure all the people with tickets for the concerts will vote N. The poor residents will be outnumbered 10 to 1.

The scene outside my local Ticketmaster agent five minutes ago as people queue for refunds.
