Good recording studios for work experience

I'm considering a week in a recording studio as one of my options for my Transition Year work placements and was wondering if this was a viable option?. I'm aware the big players like WindMill Lane Studios are unable or unwilling to give work experience, and was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions of who best to approach?. I've been playing and studying music since the age of 7, and would say music is not only just a big passion in my life, but in essence another part of me!

    Thanks!.

Grouse lodge, Temple Bar, Start together in belfast, Four winds, Peter Maher. etc etc

My point is there is bucket loads around. Don't just commit yourself to the Dublin bubble.
