Away on holliers this week and not allowed (!) listen to the Lahv Lahn. Just reading the thread whilst herself is having a massage, seems like the usual mixed bag from The Champagne Socialist, but you lot on the thread are doing a fine job making me giggle. This thread is so funny you don't even need to listen to the show to enjoy it!

The two mothers and four children were applauded as they were brought down from the ride
Bizarro - the urge to burst into sponataneous applause seems to be spreading. It's an American thing, whereby one is applauded for merely breathing or setting one foot in front of the other when a little bit of stress has been coped with.

Yeah, he got it cancelled, or so he will claim.

However they are doing a new thing over several venues and nights to promote new Irish bands.

And of course they won't want to shift extra beer doing that, oh no.

Jedward rescued by coastguard after getting stranded on a sandbank

After the fairground 'emergency' yesterday, this should take up a good hour of the programme today.

In the absence of Jedward, Joe's researchers will be on the phone to NY to persuade the woman who fell onto the subway tracks to come on.

That won't stop Joe. I'd say Joe was gutted she only broke her shoulder, I'd imagine he was hoping for at least one severed limb per train.

I've got a bloody meeting from 1:30 to 4:30, gutted that I'll be missing the ceaseless litany of devastated muckers on moaning that they wont be able to see "Gareth Brukes".

Although, to be fair, I'd be p1ssed off if I'd forked out for transport and accomodation for a concert that won't take place. Bloody promoters should have ensured permission before selling the tickets, the greedy bastárds, but they have it covered as I think it's in the T's n C's that the tickets are sold "subject to permission".
