Windows Media Player Problem

    Everytime I play an mp3 and have the visualisations on the sound crackles.
    Is there away to stop this ?

    Your computer might be low on ram. Try closing some background programs.

    dodgy drivers???

    try copying a few large files at the same time as playing music, if it starts crackling then it could be down to that.

    ur prob is windows media player :) dont use that
    get winamp
    winamp.com get the latest version of 2,
    version 3 is fairly bad and uses soooo much memory!

    media player 9 is a fine app, more of a winamp man myself too (2.91 is sooo sweet!) but i don't mind using media player every now & again.
    have you tried reinstalling it?

    I have winamp 2.91 and 3 aswell.
    But I like the visualitions.
    I have nothing else running while doing this.
    Its been an ongoing problem.
    Happen in version 8 and upgraded to 9 the other day and still appearing.

    there is visuals on winamp aswell
    and u can make them full screen
    just double click under the time thingy

    I'm aware of winamps features.
    But I want to have WMP working properly.
