It is both. It is generally used to for 3g connections to the internet via means of cellular data. It has built in wifi to connect other devices to the internet as well as one ethernet port for wired connections.

It depends on what sort of internet connection you have at home, is it cable, dsl or mobile?

Then yes there should be no reason why it should not work. Wifi printers connect just like any other wifi enabled device.
