Up loading dwg to a topcon GTS-725

    Hi all,
    Not to sure if I have placed this in the right forum but here goes, I have bought a 2nd hand total station a Topcon gts-725, I can down load the surveys and files no problem but unable to up load drawings for setting out. Can anybody out there help me please.

    do you use the total station in conjunction with a logger? if not it may be a case of only being able to upload a .csv file which contains only certain set out points if ya get me...

    What format do they come off the instrument in King-M ? Is it dwg, dxf or csv ? If it's one of the drawing format files makes sure you only have the points you need for setting out included, and that everything is exploded.
    If it's csv format you'll have to convert your dxf points to csv.
