    Woe is me:

Upside-down Ireland turned over by Greeks bearing no gifts.

Italy toppled by Uruguayans baring teeth.

So what matches is everyone picking tonight?

I haven't managed to see any Argentinian match yet, so of course I'll be in the car from about 5 this evening. :(

I think Ecuador should beware of the French aerial strike threat.

Honduras should kick Switzerland all over the pitch, but scoring requires kicking the ball.

This evening's matches may lead to the following 2nd round matches:

    Argentina vs Switzerland
    France vs Nigeria

Will watch all 4 games but will put Bosnia & Swiss games on the RTE Player!

Was watching Ivory Coast v Greece on it last night, IC were on the attack and a cross had just gone in when it froze. Sat there wondering if there might have been a goal gone in for IC and when the picture returned about 40 seconds later, Greece had scored!

    Still, it's better than nothing.

Could do with Aguero getting his finger out tonight!

As much as I dislike Greece, I think that Iran are worse.

Ah come on, that 2nd goal was pretty sweet, you have to hand it to him. I <3 Messi, what a roide.

Wouldn't surprise me if Jim Beglin and Stephen Alkin think the same

He went off twenty minutes ago and they still haven't stopped talking about him.

"The game has changed so much since The Genius left the pitch", I am sorry but that is just cringe.

I wonder how many of the Nigerian fans are the scammers that send out those letters and emails.

Kenny sounds like a politician with the amount of times he's said "going forward".

They did him brilliantly on Apres Match the other night, kept saying 'At this moment in time' which he always does.

Don't really like Kenny as a pundit, pulls too many faces!

He says 'fuhball' too much also. Just say Liverpool Kenny, you don't have to add 'fuhball' club.

Red card for Valencia. That was a bit harsh... there was no malice in the tackle, just recklessness.
