Hey Folks. I was wondering what is everyones opinion on Aussie lowboy cabs. Personally I'm fond of them. I like
the compact feel and different angle of display. Different from the norm.

They're really interesting - a complete product of their geographical location.

They look like older Japanese sit down cabinets but made out of wood. Due to how close Australia is to Japan, you can probably imagine why.

I originally wanted one of the Aus low profile MVS cabs.

Then ended up discovering older Japanese metal candy cabs which they're modeled on and going with them instead.

But yeah, if you like those Australia ones you'll love older Japanese candy cabs. They're full metal, better built and with a cleaner profile.

Not shameless at all buddy. If you have it......flaunt it. Are they running multi game boards or dedicated. I'm really liking the AVP cab. Lovley big display. Really nice cabs buddy.

I'm one of those lunatics with no sense who collects arcade PCBs when a MAME pc would save so much money and space :pac:

The one on the left has a six PCB switcher so has 5 vertical PCBs in it at the moment.

The other one is one at a time for now, wouldn't mind getting a PCB switcher for that one too.

If you fancy one, there's a lad in the Netherlands who imports them from Japan.

Just to say, in regards to the above, don't let the price of a Capcom Cute put you off - they're insanely expensive.

The majority of Japanese cabinets go for the region of €600-€1000, dependent on how rare or desirable the cab is.

All comes down to what you want really!
