    E.G: "Do you want a cuppa?"
    Person: "What? Oh no thanks".

    When you're around family and you're tired, but not tired enough that you'd be able to fall asleep, you just need some quiet time, so you just naturally become quiet, and family members start badgering you to either have a full blown conversation with them, or else "go to bed if you're tired!"

    That's annoying. I don't want to go to bed because I'm not tired enough to fall asleep but I also don't have the energy for full blown interactions, so you just sit there having your "options" shouted at you.

    I'm the same!
    I'm a chatty person but listening to other people and talking a lot can tire you and if I'm tired I want to be quiet but other people want to tell you their life stories and want your FULL attention when all you want to do is sit there quietly.

    People who say "What?" in any context whatsoever are among the worst people in the world.

    If somebody says "What?" to me, I instantly refuse to give them any further attention. It is ignorant and rude as ****.

    And then they want to ask "So why *didn't* you do medicine? Why do you have nose piercing? Talk about your JOB?! I'd much rather question you on your choice of clothes and significant others

    Some people are very draining. I got good though, (more so from a job I had, in the past, than family interaction)at appearing to listen. I'd get the general gist anyway, enough to keep people happy. ;)

    I used to work with someone who used to say 'PARDON', in such a tone and manner that it sounded like the rudest word ever!

    I spent all day today outside, which is great. I'm loving the summery weather. But now I have very itchy eyes. I think it's the mix of sun, sand, breeze etc. It happens sometimes. I have the drops. Here's where the problem lies - I don't like putting stuff in my eyes. And there's no one around to pin me down either. I have no idea how am I going to do this :(

    Have you ever tried Optimist? It's a spray that you spray on closed eyelids and it's really refreshing. I swear by it.
    Even better is Clarymist, if you can get that one in particular.

    I love putting stuff in my eyes. I also love going to the dentist.

    Optrex do nice eyemasks as well, really cooling, just place over closed eyes, and relax for about 10 minutes. I recommend.

    My dentist is very sound. She's also my bestie's aunt so it's cool :) I had my wisdom teeth removed a while back and the dentist in the hospital was brilliant. And very handsome. I'll go back to him to get rid of the other two :D

    Last time I went to the dentist, I had my MP3 player with me and I was allowed to listen to it while I got 3 fillings. Didn't quite drown the drill out but it was by far the most relaxing dentist trip I'd had so far in my life.

    On Topic: Prickly heat rash. OH GOD THE ITCH! I'm taking Zirtec tablets for my annual hayfever woes and for all the good they do, I might as well be taking sugar pills. Urgh. Scratching all over. :(

    That's a good idea. I never thought of that. I usually stare out the window and think of all sorts of things.

    Actually one trivial annoyance when it comes to dentists. They always seem to be so chatty!
    Dentist: "How have you been? Anything planned for the weekend?"
    Me: "Ufrhhbkddv brblrughmitdn wuhsyb..."
    Dentist: "That's lovely."
    :confused:

    Why the hell do you ask me questions when I have my mouth full of your hands and other stuff!

    Why do people get dogs when they haven't the first clue about them? Neighbours down street have big dog, in postage stamp size garden, barks all day, home alone, never exercised, it's so wrong.

    People that quote the message they are replying to, omg they are replying to the post anyway, but you can get an upgrade to that when they quote the message plus the pic's.

    You quote the message for context, so people can see which post you are exactly referring to....100 users posted here say, and I want to comment on a post 20 posts back. If I don't quote them , then the reference of my post is lost.
