Re-cemented crown has fallen out after six weeks.

I had a crown re-cemented about six weeks ago and it has fallen out again today. I'm wondering if my dentist can charge me to have it re-cemented? I paid €100 on the last visit.

Usually crown do not debond unless there is something wrong with the underlying tooth, diud the dentist last time tell you that there were problems such as a fractured root, decay or fractured core that would prevent the repair being durable?

I was told the tooth was healthy. I did feel that there wasn't much cement used though, it didn't feel very secure.

Thanks for the reply fitzgeme. I went back to my dentist today, she was very apologetic and re-cemented the crown free of charge, so I'm very satisfied.
