    Hi all,

upgraded to Magnet Fatpipe 100MB last week and even during the first hour of testing it, it's obvious that the Technicolor TG789v3 gateway provided by Magnet is absolutely rubbish.

It disconnects under any heavy load e.g. within 1 minute of a Steam download and is so frustrating that I'm thinking about dropping fibre and going back to ADSL. A good Asus VDSL gateway is well over 140 quid and there's no guarantee that that would work anyway.

Has anyone encountered such issues with this rubbish piece of equipment and have they found a good alternative?

best thing about magnet is the lack of contract. give them your 30 days and change provider asap. magnet are nothing but hassle. a quick search of the forum will tell you that
