Still strikes going on there for public transport. I was talking to a colleague today who works in our Sao Paolo office and they've been telecommuting because travel throughout the city has become impossible.

Anyone know a shop selling a world cup wall chart poster?

Would love to stick one up on the wall.

The Observer had a great one yesterday so I picked it up. In sure there''ll be a few knocking around the the next few days. Don't think any tabloid has given away any yet

I've seen a lot of tabloids promoting their digital versions. Hopefully a physical version pops up.

The Star did a crap black and white on yesterday.

Paddy Power have an A4 printable one which is decent.

England are no fun since they finally grasped how bad they are.

An incredibly boring 0-0 draw that's going to have me wishing that I went out rather than sitting in watching it.

No one has tell the English how bad we are. We're the ones who have to watch them.

People seem to mix up 'expectation' with 'hope'. You only have to look at how revered Venables & Robson are for deliving semi-finalists to guage the true level of expecation. But if you don't go into these things with hope then what is the point of turning up?

This. I don't think it'll be one for the neutrals.

With the Irish thrashed by a Portuguese side that was in "warm up" mode last night I refuse to take any mocking here with anything other than contempt.

And a second string Irish team that was in holiday mode,Portugal are preparing for a World Cup they should be gearing up pretty nicely.

    I'm also predicting a low-scoring tight game. 0-0 wouldn't surprise me.

But I don't think it will be dull.

Not for me at least. This is the World Cup and a massive game, no two ways about. Going to be filled with tension and the magic that the WC brings.

Going to be watching it with a bunch of English lads, and one angry Nordy who won't be hiding his anti-Britishness. Can't wait

Oh I'm counting the seconds. But I think both sides will know that neither can afford to lose and if the pitch is as bad as it looks and conditions as sapping as expected I wouldn't exepect a conventionally entertaining match.

Last 20 minutes should be exciting if one side decides to really run at tiring defenders. It's a real shame that Oxlade-Chamberlain won't make it.
