Have to say I'm shocked MS did an E3 show with, no sport, no TV and no Kinect. They finally took note and just did what Sony did last year. Just a pity they didn't have much or anything ground breaking to show off.
All 2012 and 2013 E3s were TV and sports the whole way.

They have since said 2015 is very optimistic and 2016 is far more likely. That's from the developers first hand.

I'm actually bummed there was no smartglass mention.

Its a neat feature and no love? I have windows on DT, Laptop, and 2 mother****ing tablets and I get a glorified KD Scoreboard when playing halo. Blah.

Halo Collection: First reaction was "aww look at them reselling old ****" but in fairness, that happens to DVD all the time, and in this case HD facelifts, modern Halo 2 servers (Hell YES?!) and all 4 of the MC titles + a beta invite (if you're a preordering schmuck) and a snakey lock-in to the live action halo (grrrr) well, they have a winner. It is confirmed $60 November 11th. All the cutscenes will be re-done - not just run through the render again. And they make a fair point, it's a great way to get younger players to play the original story.

I just look forward to playing through the entire series with a mate in co-op. Absolutely loved Halo 3 for that.

Meh, Halo is a really boring franchise to anyone who has any FPS experience before it. Master Chief is unquestionably one of the most over-rated and flat out uninteresting characters to have ever been the protagonist in any game - if you think that's interesting, please do yourselves a favour and go read a book.

It was a good showing from MS to give them their dues, but it was very clearly designed around "don't fk it all up like last year" which they really had to do.

The GIGANTIC Kinect shaped elephant in the room was hilarious though, not even the Dance Central guy who's game is built for it mentioned it.
