2mb Broadband-Actual Speed?

I'm about to get Vodafone Broadband but I don't currently have an active phone line so I can't check what speed I should get. I checked some of my neighbours phone numbers and Eircom says the max line speed is 2mb. Anybody else who's max download speed is 2mb (according to Eircom) can you tell me what actual speeds you…

I'm on 2Mbps with Vodafone, and over the last week I averaged 1.64Mbps.

Gets you ~200KBps download speed.
