Installing Windows 7 on a UEFI system

Is there a way to transfer a copy of Windows 7 from the original disc to a blank DVD or USB drive, and get it to boot on a UEFI only system?

64 bit or 32

It's currently running 64 bit Windows 8.1 .
I tried 32 and 64 bit Windows 7.

Will give that thingy a go in the morning.
