I did A on text one as well but B in text 2.
I did the sci-fi mutant essay!!! Oh the imagination :pac:

Text one was lovely for the A part :')
Was debating doing text 2's B part but I love formal letters too much :pac:
I had a plot for a story involving a ghost thought up from last night so the title worked perfectly

What were the choices for the B parts? I remember last year someone mentioning how an obituary was a likely option and of course I went to learn it because it was strange yet interesting :P

Why are you assuming Heaney won't come up tomorrow? Maybe putting him on paper 1 was to make him unexpected on paper 2...

Regardless...still going in with my four poets and Heaney is one of them

Seems like most people did A from Text 1? I did mine from Text 2 and B from Text 1.

Well I'm glad that's over!
It actually was a fairly nice paper.
I did Text 1 Section A, Text 2 Section B and Ghost short story.
My timing went out the window however but I managed to finish all 3 sections

Only problem is I didn't have time to read over my answers..

I'd actually be so disappointed to do that as a question B because it came up as a personal essay in 2003 (possibly 2005) and I wrote such a good essay I wanted to frame it :P

Omg those essays were horrible, I was looking through the past 10 years yesterday and there was always at least one decent personal essay or article but this year they were all rubbish.. ended up doing a badly written 4 page descriptive essay (which I've never done before) on the 'exotic things in life'... fml
