    Toshiba Satellite C660D
Got a new screen for it, and the new screen lights up, but that's about all it does.

The display works when it's connected to an external monitor.

    Any ideas?

Have you checked the ribbon connecting the screen to the motherboard?

Are the panels an actual match? Is the screen bright grey? If it's bright grey it's either a faulty or more likely incompatible display..

On closer inspection, It appears to be the wrong model.

    Only a slight difference too.

    LP156WH4 (TL)(A1)
    LP156WH4 (TL)(N2)

    Thanks, folks.

Got burnt by this before on ebay :( . You'll have to send it back. I don't bother doing these panel replacements anymore as too many idiots out there send the wrong one as it "might" work.
Seriously the reply I got from an eBay seller..
