Ways to liven up the forum?

I've noticed this forum is a little dead, and I wonder is there any way to liven it up a little? :) We could create a writerly topic thread in after hours? Although, do people like the fact that the thread's small and a little unknown?

If you are interested in a writer's board with a bit more interaction, I know a place. It's geared towards those interested in self-publishing.

Really. Huh, I think I'd be interested in that.

Although, there's only one type of genre I'd self publish.

Yea what's the link for the self published board. I've been looking to get more active on a board for writers but this one seems to have gone real quiet.
