Need to sort a bit of rust on the doors too.
    Is it just surface rust?

Yeah, the paint has flaked off around the bottom of the windows and over the winter it's gotten a little rusty.
I'm thinking I need to scrape off the paint that's left, sand it down and treat the rust, primer and paint.

I'll get a picture tomorrow, I've probably explained that terribly.

Where is the best place to get them seat belt comforters? On long drives the seatbelt really irritates my skin.

Halfords have them, they have plain black ones as well, other than that I would check ebay if looking for specific one

I have just noticed my rear sway bar is upside down, how did that happen? I will try and unbolt it and flip it over.

Na, it's just that a relation is going selling her 99 one soon, basically because she's old and can't manage the steering wheel anymore :pac: (doesn't have power steering) which I thought was strange....

I had one that didn't have power steering (899), gave it to the mother afterwards who constantly nagged that the steering was too heavy.... She kept turning the wheels while the car wasn't moving! :(:(:(

So when we deemed the car uneconomic to sort (rotten chassis legs) we got her a 1.1 with power steering and never complained since

From 00 on most will have power steering, unless it's a quare spec! Ours is the poverty S trim yet still has it.

    Is it an 899?

Ya damn them anyway. I'll get over my infatuation in a few days. Was sitting in a cousins mk5 today, and it was a nice place to be in, hence me talking about them. I'll be onto something different soon!

I remember a friend bought an 05 2.0 SDI (yes that's right, a sid snot diesel)

A very well built car, lovely place to be, even drove well despite being a bit lacking in the speed department. Not a sound or a rattle in the cabin (well, apart from the engine of course, quite audible)

Would I have one? Naaaaaah, quare and unusual please :pac:

Right, 5 hours left at work, gonna go home and get a bit of sleep and then if the weather is nice enough wash the BMW and wax her and clean up the interior. Got some nice chemicals for it.
