Can someone please enlighten me as to what the point in these "flash cards" is? Just sounds like a big waste of time to me.

Waste of time? You don't know what study is until you've discovered flashcards.

I reckon spending all day on boards.ie is a waste of time though....

I use flash cards for learning quotes and poetry - I write the quote on one side and the meaning behind it on the other side and then use it for testing myself :o

It's not that surprising really. To join boards.ie and talk about the LC in your breaks from studying for the LC you'd have to be quite a nerd. :pac:

    Nerds are smart

Tbh I don't even know, I didn't even realise I post so much :pac:

I just have Spotify on on my iPad while I study, and whenever I have to reconnect to the internet (if it's locked for ten minutes it disconnects) I check Boards and end up staying here for a minute or two if someone replied to a followed thread :p

It would be a good idea if you actually wanted to do well and weren't a complete procrastinator like you are!

In the long questions in biology if they ask you to list 2 of something and you list 3 but one of them is wrong what happens?
Basically does canceling apply and when?

The right and wrong answer cancel so you only get marks for one :(

Is it true in chemistry that there's no negative marking so you can write down like five answers and still get full marks?

Sometimes they just don't give enough possible answers in the marking scheme and it's the only thing that bothers me about bio!

    I highly doubt it tbh.

I always found it strange that with Maths, you can make like ten attempts at a Q and still get full marks.
