I remember seeing figures a while back that had them outspending us by close to £50m a year since 2011 in terms of wages, and that's not even factoring in extra payments to agents etc. Yes our wages are high but as a % of turnover they are comparatively low, among the best in the EPL iirc. Net spend isn't the only factor when looking at how the debt has impeded us.

They mentioned a 30 million release clause in his contract as well.

Strange, United aren't interested in him anymore? So who is? Not too much noise from Arsenal, even though they have first refusal. Can't see City signing him unless Yaya goes to PSG and Chelsea haven't shown much of an interest in him in the past.

I think I remember reading that Arsenal have first refusal on him if he does leave so it's more than likely that he'll end up there.

If Utd are saying they're not interested its because they've already got an answer from him.
