    Not in everything. In college 38% is a fail unless your riding your lecturer (it happens I know one person doing it) but in the Leaving Cert they allow a 2% ''discrepancy'' because.. their sound.

    can I just post a random warning here? Don't forgot to check what the entry requirements of your course are! I know it seems obvious but I thought I was really pedantic about checking mine and I only found out two weeks ago that I need a certain grade in maths for 2 of my courses and I was planning on completely ignoring the subject :o you don't want to be caught out in August!

    I'm stuck doing pass French even though I don't need it, and I chose it over history which I would actually love to do. :(

    I know. Would've loved to do biology, chemistry or economics instead. Oh well, nous pouvons parler un peu en francais maintenant :D nobody dare correct my mediocre french ;)

    I found out in April last year that I could've actually claimed an exemption from Irish due to being born outside the RoI. I had the oral done by that stage though so I couldn't tell my principal to stuff it :(

    Also, if anyone finds these helpful - podcasts or something from people at the Institute of Education with their advice/predictions. Decent enough, i guess though they don't have every subject.

    The sad thing is in History you have to abbreviate and carve up words to actually get anything written. It's just contrary to decent writing :(

    You know we had the option of Biology at the same time as History? And I plan to do a course with a lot of Biology? I've had nights out with less regret than this infernal subject choice :(

    I don't even need irish for any of my courses :cool: I'm tempted to walk into my irish and exam and just write "is mhaith liom caca milis" and leave
