Antenna Help (Project)

    Hi there.

    So in need of urgent help here. My project for college was finished and due for presentation Monday. I have an antenna off a GPRS device and I have lost the top of it here is the link. I lost the rectangle pcb at the top.
    I cant post exact link on this wont alloy me for some reason

    I heard that you can run a wire from the coax and still get reception is this correct. anyone know what I need to do.

    You can run a wire with a length equal to the wavelength of your received signal, iirc that'll be around 20-25 cm for GPS

    Got it working anyway but thanks for your reply.

    Signal is 900Mhz so (speed of light 3*10^9 / 900Mhz *4 )
    8.33cm
