Really have a a feeling that Real will win the Champions league tonight and win comfortably in the end. I really think that Real have been concentrating on this game for the last number of weeks and it's really a game they have to win or the manager gets sacked.
Athletico on the other hand have just won the league so will look at this champions league as an added bonus. Recently though I think they are really starting to Creek and are starting to look quite jaded. Despite their excellent defence, I feel the pace of Real Madrid will really cause them problems and I can see this ending with Real winning 2-0 or 3-0

    That's why I've taken a punt on Real - 1 @ 3/1
    and Real - 2 @ 9/1

they've won their last 11 games at home - http://int.soccerway.com/teams/algeria/mouloudia-club-del-eulma/3435/

only problem is the last 3 games between these 2 finished 0-0 and it's the final round of the season and both teams are fighting for the 4th place which gives access to some African competition.

    First Goal To Be A Header @ 5.00 (Bet365)

Set pieces are important in the Championship. and Charlie Austin is one of the best headers of the ball on the pitch

Huge amount of corners in the last Qpr game with Wigan leading to this. Anyone think it will be the same today?

Followed on this, lot of corners and frees but very few one-on-ones which is good.

Was looking good for a while, but once the red card happened, the headers all dried up. :(

14 or 15 in the end mainly from Derby. Didn't get near it.

Had a mind to do exactly the same myself, but could not see it happening - so sidestep it. They never looked like scoring until they scored :pac:

Anyways, now to find something worthwhile in the Champions League. Hopefully :P

Does anyone know will all the pre-match markets still be available on Bet365 after kick-off?Gonna have a look at something decent to get on in-play now but not sure if they leave markets out or how much the odds will drop.Planning on picking out something now and getting on as soon as the whistle blows.

Haha I felt the same but 20/1 was just too big!

The CL final looks as difficult to call as ever. Using the Bet365 offer to guarantee profit and hoping for a draw but I can see Madrid firing on all cylinders tonight.

Might as well warn everyone that come 7:46 tonight, Bet365 will not work, and people in this very thread will be posting angry messages, as they cannot lock in profit with their in-play offer

    Banker @ Any Price.

I was thinking of doing the following . Over 0.5 goals @1/12 and do another bet (not decided yet) risk free once the game starts.
Worst case scenario is the game ends 0-0 and I am down my €50.The last game I can see that ended 0-0 between the sides was 2005 and both teams have scored in all but one CL game this season(Atletico v Chel).

PP doing money back on first/last scorers if Bale scores anytime.

Probably will do Benzema and Villa for first goal. Will wait to see lineups first

    On Ronaldo for MOTM already

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 137 ✭✭bgrove

Lot of pressure on RM tonight, especially after choking on the league run in, athletico have nothing to lose. Saying that rm should win but I'm steering clear after my 1k loss on them last time

I am going to trust in the stats...

Time of the First Goal scored in the last 15 Madrid derbys, dating back to 2010

    3' Real (Benzema)
    7' Real (Ronaldo)
    17' Real (Pepe)
    11' A Madrid (Costa)
    14 Real (Ronaldo)
    4' A Madrid (Falcao)
    16' Real (Ronaldo)
    25' Real (Ronaldo)
    15' A Madrid (Adrián)
    11' Real (Benzema)
    23' Real (Ronaldo)
    7' A Madrid (Forlan)
    13' Real (Carvalho)
10' A Madrid José Antonio Reyes
    5' Real (Kaká)

    Which means...

Average time of first goal - 12 minutes
Real scored first 10 out of 15 times
Ronaldo scores first goal 5 times in 15 matches

    So, level stakes on...

    Cristiano Ronaldo First Goal @ 4.50 (Bet365)
Madrid First Goal (0-15) @ 5.00 (William Hill)
Real Madrid to Score the First Goal up to and including minute 30 @ 3.5 0 (Paddy)

    !GO STATS GO!

I can't see this match going anywhere.
    €10 Draw @ FT 10/1
€10 RM Lift In Penos 10/1
€10 Atletico Lift In Penos 10/1

    3 SINGLES

1st best profit ( if the ft is a draw & if it goes to penos): €132
2nd best profit: ( if the ft is a draw & a winner in et): €2
    Worst: -€30

    Good Luck!
