Camera Advice Needed

    I'm looking to pick up a new camera for my other half. She used to own a Sony A330 (unfortunately it was stolen a few months ago). Should I stick with Sony or is there a better choice?

    She always says Canon are better but she's used a few of her friends cameras (not sure which models) and surprisingly found that her ols A330 was actually better.

    My budget is €400-€600. She still has her Sony zoom lens (only purchased last year-thankfully wasn't stolen) so with that in mind, should I stick with Sony?

    She's a very good photographer-natural ability. At the time, the A330 was purchased as a stepping stone camera but over the years she has become very good.

    Any advice on what I should get (and where-possible Conns Cameras?) would be greatly appreciated.
