Inrernet explorer problems

Not sure if I'm in the right place, but someone might help or point me in the right direction. My Internet Explorer keeps crashing/freezing, mostly when using email, but also on numerous sites.

The problem with my email arises when I write a mail and then try to "Send". It gives me the pop up message and freezes. Also when I try to add an attachment, as soon as I even hover the mouse over the "attachment" symbol.

If I write a mail and save it to drafts, then open it from there, I can send it without any problem, but still can't add attachments.

I have followed all the various online fixes, am using explorer 11, which I'm assured is the latest version, and am running windows vista.

I have done scans, restores, whatever I can and still no joy. Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes, I did some more poking around on here after posting and it seems to be a common problem, with the general concensus being to use a different browser, so I installed Firefox and everything runs as sweet as a nut. No issues at all and faster too!

    Thanks for the response.
