    Hi Guys,

I have an ipad for my dad which can take a SIM. I want to get him cheap broadband so he can use things like imessage i can send him photos of his granddaughter. I live abroad and he won't use it alot but would like to see the odd photo. Any idea what would be the most cost effective way for this to happen. I know some pay as you go methods you need to spend 3 euro per day for some mbs but if he could just top up and use as and when what would be the best option?

    Cheers

Thanks guys. Do I have to top with 15 euro each month? Is there anything out there which would give me that for say 3 months? He'll use damn all....

I just took out o2 mobile broadband - I would strongly advise against it as they keep trying to overcharge on the line rental and the customer service is terrible

I don't know if this is still the case, but Meteor used to do 50GB for €25 pm.

Thanks for the info guys. I was wondering though is there any company that lets you top up and just use the data as and when required even if over a period of a couple of months without having to top up every month? I don't see my elderly father using it continuously.............
