This is the first time in history a cat has ever done anything nice for a human.

Was the cat himself planning to eat the child later perhaps?

How would you like it is a dog started destroying your bed? The dog was a threat to the cat's property so it protected its stuff like any of us would.

Reports say the child is now feline fine.

Reminds me about the 'Crumlin Cat'. Was driving through Crumlin years ago when we saw 2 large dogs going hell for leather chasing a cat down the street and around the corner and out if sight. A few seconds later the two dogs came sprinting and scrambling back around the corner screeching their heads off with the single cat in hot purrsuit.

Funniest thing I ever saw. :D

If something similar occurred in an episode of OFAH, then it's a coincidence. I swear on the graves of everyone dear to me that the Crumlin Cat was real!

It attacked a child. Even if you love animals, there is no way you can say this is not a good idea. If it was my dog, I'd do the same.

Cats are not assholes, they just don't care enough about humans most of the time to do anything worthwhile :pac:

Doubtful, the houses looked lovely and his mum was wearing a dress, not hot-pants. Nice car too. I'd say fairly comfortable kid. Cool cat. I want an attack cat.

As much as I love dogs and animals in general, that dog really needs to be put down. It was a totally unprovoked attack and what would have happened if that cat wasn't there?

OFC, what I was trying to say was that there should be no likely about it, any dog who attacks a person should be put down.

Cats get an unfair press. In my experience of them they're intelligent and very loyal. They just don't keep looking for approval like dogs and are very self sufficient.

My grandmother was very ill and her cat used to grab things from the kitchen and try to feed her.

Always fish and meat ... But still she was making a huge effort.

The same cat could knock on the front door using the actual door knocker when she wanted to get in and could use door handles in the house by swinging off them.

Cats aren't dogs and don't behave like them. They're very social just not hierarchial and don't brown nose to their pack leaders.

Never mind the cat, this shows how dangerous roaming dogs can be.

Not to mention scars. Scars are awesome to show off, especially when you're young.
