I'm thinking of going to one or the other - in London.

    Has anyone seen them?

Which do people think is better?

    Thanks :)

Matilda by a mile. Charlie is visually impressive but doesn't have the magic of Matilda. IMO it's the second best show in the West End at the moment, second only to Book of Mormon

Haven't seen Charlie but saw Matilda last year and it's really lovely. The songs are quite catchy and the set is quite impressive too.

My own opinion and I'd say both critical and popular weight would be behind Matilda.

I'd add +1 to this. A couple of my friends have seen Matilda in the West End and they both loved it.
