well hes going to have plenty of weapons in Cincinnati and a qb that he can beat out eventually so i think the balls in his court if he doesn't make it its his own fault. not sure what his misses will think about living in Cincinnati though

Ah sure god love her she'll have to move to ohio.

McCarron's attitude has never been in question. Been watching him his whole college career and there's rarely been a QB entering the draft as well prepared for what lies ahead as McCarron.

He doesn't have a rocket arm and can benefit from sitting for a bit and learning the system so this is a good spot to land for him, Dalton is the starter but hardly one with the full backing of his club. The rest of the Bengals are quite a good team too.

Some of the scutter typed here about him and his personal life wouldn't be out of place on DailyMail.co.uk or After Hours.

The perceived insult he feels over being drafted 164th, could light a fire and drive him to the starter spot in time. But if he adopts the poor me attitude, then that's it.

lack of a rocket arm means feck all tbh most of the top qbs dont have rocked arms but for his entire college career hes had the best defense, the best o-line and one of the best run games as well as pretty good receiving corps his teams will never be that dominant i the nfl not sure how he will translate

i doubt he will go with the poor me attitude tbh id be shocked i dont doubt he got a good work ethic

Colts draft is terrible so far leaving out Moncrief ( which we didnt need)

If they wanted a pass rusher then why not take Kone in the second!?

I agree, I was just giving both sides of the pendulum in my last post. I expect that it will motivate him now to prove a point.

Bama have never had great receivers in any of their recent championship winning runs. It was all about the run and McCarron getting something out of pretty average receivers within a very conservative passing game. If Saban and company cut loose a little more they'd have been less of the close calls they did have. That's more on Saban's natural tendencies in his time with Bama rather than McCarron.

McCarron should have attended the Senior Bowl (played in the heart of Alabama, no less) and thrown at the Combine. Made it look like he was hiding something. Got bad advice by his agent/inner circle as to where he was situated heading into the off-season.

Very interested to see how he does when he is eventually asked to do a little more in the NFL. I think the Bengals got a steal, as have the Chiefs in Murray.

Titans get Mettenberger. Great pick up in the sixth round.

Grigson is terrible at drafting trench and defensive players. We reached a good two rounds for two of our picks while Safety,Centre, NT and CB all still not addressed.

i think mccarron can be a good game manager but some people overhype him due to his record (ironically enought dalton was undefeated in college if i remember correctly) he has had good recievers (didnt say great) and great great great everything else. he didnt have to get anything out of anyone he had to not mess up the massive advantage he had over everyone else.

Ravens take guard John Urschal from Penn St in the 5th

I like the player but we realy needed a tackle not a guard!

Ok, give me a cornerback in the 6th

I sincerely doubt it. Not after his comments about Sandy Hook considering how much Robert Kraft was involved with honouring those who lost their lives. He personally donated $25k to help the victims, and held a Patriots Football Clinic in the town to help morale. That as well as the pre-game ceremony we held vs the 49ers after it happened, and the decals the players wore. I'd be shocked if Kraft picked up a punk like Coke Lyerla after what he said.

So much talent though even if he doesnt get drafted. If Pats could clean him out him and Gronk would be scary.

i think he will definetly be picked up after the draft but i dont think anyone would waste a pick on him hes talented although not as much as some people think but i think hes a disaster for an organisation off the field

Ya i agree just seems the most logical fit. Either way i say there will be a lot of teams queuing up after the 7th to get him. Who else needs TE help?

Even good is probably over-egging what his receivers were. The top guys knew to stay away from Bama and the few guys that did go there disappeared into the abyss of the system.
