Followed Sergio for a few holes today, it's like his eye just suits the course, he hits it both ways really really well, his high draw is class to see live. Followed Phil for a few, course doesn't suit him at all. He wasn't having a good time of it today. ****ers wont let ya take any photos once your on the ground, had to walk back to my car with the camera ha ha

Very jealous - are you there for the weekend too?

Would love to see Sergio do it this time around and hopefully he will have learnt from mistakes made on 17 last year.

Kaymer now -6 thru 15. Great to see him show some form of late given his struggles over the last few years.

Wonderful round from Kaymer in tougher afternoon conditions. Great to see him back swinging well.

No in the airport and all now, back in Dublin tomorrow morning, would have loved to gone Sunday, it's run with military precision as you would expect from the yanks.

Rory was 5 under after 10 yesterday

Now hovering on the cut line and playing pretty poor

Slumped shoulders after a missed birdie putt on the first and he hasn't got his head in gear at all. I'm finding him very frustrating to watch these days.

Rory about to have his 4th bogey in a row. With the wind up - to make the cut now is going to be a big ask.

edit* make that a double... missed a 3 footer.

I could make good use of that card myself tomorrow. FFS Rory.

He seemed so confident after his round yesterday while being interviewed in front of that new Sky gadget....he just lets rounds get away from him so easily at times.

Anyone seen that drop from Flores on the 17th ? He literally just lobbed the ball down....

Was it not Baddely? His second drop. It may not have been..I had seen him put his first two in the water and then was doing something else and not watching very closely so assumed it was him.

Yea looked like pure frustration. If you're dropping in a dedicated area though it probably doesn't make much odds...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 176 ✭✭Carpo86

I was also referring to Baddely's second drop...

Makes a difference alright ... otherwise players would drop from a height of 1/2 inch onto the perfect spot. :D

Sorry, thought it was Flores, it probably was Baddeley. I'm watching on sky go on a small screen, so I can't go back to double check :)

Every time I watch Spieth I can help but think he could win majors close to if not double figures range.

    He is a majestic golfer!

Little bit of a dig there from Westwood talking about Sean Foley? Said he wasn't comfortable with what Sean was trying to get him to do and is happier with new coach. Suppose he is just telling it how it is.

Sent a text round to my playing partners for the morning a few minutes ago saying my goal tomorrow is to swing it like Spieth. I reckon if I manage that I might be in contention :D

In the last chance salon, needs a birdie on 18.
