I'm gonna quote this in case anybody hasn't seen it and has skipped the last few pages.
I don't know what to say, this is amazing stuff, there's been a few brilliant poems put up here this season by Mr P and others but this is the best yet. I had actually tired of those Hitler skits but obviously I was only waiting for one with such relevance to myself. Hats off to KevIRL

One of the things that have kept me sane in this clusterfcuk of a season is that, once I put the work into deciding my transfers, my starting XI and my substitute order for the gameweek, there isn't a thing I can go. If I do well, I do well and if I don't, I don't - but it'll be nothing to do with a lack of effort.

Well, me winning my league entirely hinges on City's game ending as a 0-0 draw.

Opponent needs thirty points and has Yaya (C), Dzeko, and Silva playing to my Yaya and Demichelles.

    Colour me worried.

Nasri and Wichkam....if there ever was a time for you lads to shine, it's tonight.

Took a 4 point hit to bring in Yaya and Wickham for Rooney and Mutch. It's already paid off very well but I really need it to go nuclear tonight :D

I badly need City to concede. I have Nasri, three rivals have city defenders (Zabaleta, Kolarov, Demichaelis).

Andy Johnson playing for 60 mins tonight would now be regarded as success in my basement level expectations of this GW37 punisher.....kicking the ball in that time is an optional extra.....

I need the exact opposite. My opponent essentially has Nasri and Wickham (c) against my Jack Colback. Best case scenario realistically is Nasri (3), Wickham (4) and Colback (3). We're currently both tied on 2,340 points so his lead going into next week will depend on the above players. Worst case scenario, either of the above scores and it's curtains for my season. He also has Alonso to my Mannone but they should score the same. Would be great if Alonso was rested but I don't have luck like that! He has done it to me though. Twice. This gameweek.

Being <10 points behind going into the final week would still give me a glimmer of hope. I'll be totally gambling either way, seems to be the way to go this season. Planning ahead has been counter productive.

I agree. All you can do is prepare your team for 11.30 and then wait 48 hours to see how they get on.

My rival moved 4 points ahead last night due to RVP's goal and bps. Tonight he has Wickham, AJ, Mannone, Zab and Yaya to my Yaya, Kompany and Mannone. So I need quiet nights from Wickham and AJ or my season is over. They're going to get at least 4 between them you'd expect so that would put him 8 ahead going into the final GW.

If he has a double digit lead going into the last weekend, I can't see myself clawing it back. My last hope is a Kompany goal in either game. It's the reason I went for him over Zab, hoping he could nab a goal somewhere along the line.

I said I saw momentum as a problem weeks ago and it appears now I did peak too early. I'm now 1k below (at 1305) my highest position earlier in the season. I got up to the 300s and just couldn't push on. It's a pity but I've won all my leagues bar this one and should finish in the top 2k so its been a decent year in all.

I need Yaya to be arrested before the game for using performance enhancing drugs, Aguero to have a Lazarus-esque injury resurrection and use some of Yaya's left over booster drugs to play the greatest game since the days of Maradona and for Wickham to get drunk just before kickoff. Oh and if Mannone could save a peno and score a goal, that would be swell also. Slim hope of winning my cash league now but the above scenario could swing the pendulum back in my favour.

If ever I need a Yaya 2 pointer (ok 3 points I'm not completely selfish) then it's tonight. Hopefully Silva slots in for Aguero tonight if my captain isn't going to play again and at the very least matches Yaya. I've accepted the inevitable Yaya hat-trick though :(

I have Mannone and Demi tonight too so clean sheets would be good.

Probably been asked a number of times already, but can't see it - if yuor captain only plays once during a double game week, he just gets the double for the one game he has played ya?

Someone, a rival, has told me its quadruple, but I think he is lying (hope).

    He is lying. Bizarrely.

I'm hoping for a resounding Villa win tonight (well, 1-0 would do!)

City 3-0 with Zab & Yaya getting on the score sheet would be nice. Clean sheet for Mannone along with a Begovic style goal would be even nicer :P

Need a big, big game from Yaya and for lots and lots of players to keep quiet. If Negredo was to start ahead of Dzeko, that'd be nice! Slim hope really.

right now id take a city cleanie above anything...preferably a 0-0 though
if they lost id also be delighted

I'd be happy with just a Kompany goal and chance of three bonus.

That would be a game changer for me if Wickham and AJ stay quiet.

32 behind in only live pay HU League.

He has nobody tonight, I've got Mannone, Dzeko & Yaya(C).

Hoping for 6/8/12(c) - one time

    Good start. Rival has him.

Covering all bases have backed Dzeko anytime goal, Dzeko 2 goals or more, City to concede and Sunderland/WBA both to score. :)

Amalfitano just adds to the looooong queue of players of mine who didn't play as predicted this week.

That makes: Ramsey, Azpi, Aguero, Rooney, Chester, Amilfitano.

Spectacular. Of the eight DGWers I started with, I reckoned Rooney would play once. Only 3 of those 8 actually played twice. This is on track to be my worst GW ever. And at such a crucial time. I can only desperately hope that this one somehow ends 0-0.

I've fallen 20,000 places to 50k and my opponent (who was inactive for two months!) is on track to catch me. In the space of a single GW. At this stage, there's little I can do but laugh.

It kinda emphasises the point I made in my end-of-season notes last year that you shouldnt get too hung up on a DGW. Some single players are worth keeping in

Well I brought in Yaya for Eriksen, which meant bringing in Chester to free up funds. I don't regret that at all. I brought in Amalfitano for Januzaj because I didn't think Jan would play and I'd had him chilling on my bench as last sub for a long time and I thought Amal would play both--plus he had pretty solid form.

Besides that, I knew Rooney was a risk but my week and team have imploded quite spectacularly. :D When the highest scoring players are Weimann, Wilson, Gayle, Aurnatovic, and Larsson, you gotta say it's been an odd week.
