On bench but will not get a run.
Giggs vidic are gonna come on and I'd guess rvp

God I hope you're right. Rival has him captained, and only 2 points so far. Would make my Aguero captain a win.

Only Dzeko to fear if Mata doesn't play.

My opponent does not have mata.
He has de gea and Jones
    See ye next year

Jones and Davies to come off at 61 minutes when it's still 0-0. The Mata comes on and scores 2 goals. Actually a few have him as captain. Bring him on with 2 mins left and he does nothing.

No Evra, No rooney. Goodnight. That's me finished with this game for this year :(

Nothing left to play for against a Hull side who are resting players for the cup. Best thing he could have done, give the younger lads a run out at Old Trafford, makes sense really.

Back on topic, fancy Longs chances of getting a good points haul against that defence!

Best thing he could have done would be pick the strongest 11 available and try get a performance like v Norwich which got a bit of a buzz around the fans who have had a dismal season.
If he wants to bring players in hernandez and welbeck deserve starts, hernandez has been a good squad player and wasn't his fault Saturday as he got no service.
I won't go on too much as this isn't the soccer forum but from both a FF point of view and a united fans point of view I think that's a terrible selection.
Let the youngsters get their run out in the league cup.
I hope hernandez leaves in the summer because he deserves a lot better.

Injuries and managers decisions have literally cost me thousands of pounds the last few weeks. You work for 9 months at the game only for some clueless idiots to overtake you right at the end. Planning ahead and having a strong bench has counted for absolutely nothing this season. Luck conquers all.

Na, luck only plays a small part, as I was told earlier in the week.

Shoddy weekend with Mata as captain. No Mata in the starting line up tonight.

I bid you farewell FF for another season, that's me well and truly out of the top 3 money pot in my league.

Try no Evra, Rooney or Mata. And no captain Aguero, Ramsey, Azpil rested, Skrtel 0 (again) etc, etc. I was coming into this game hilariously needing an Evra goal or two just to stay alive. Don't even get the opportunity. Guess it's down to Colback to score a double hat-trick. Cue him getting hit by a car tonight.

Haha yeah, it makes a few posters on here feel better thinking luck is only a minor factor. I work in an industry where we've had to stand before regulatory bodies to statistically show how much luck is involved in a game. In FF it's massive, but if you play well you should still be able to crack the top 10k each season. After that it's about 90% luck how high you climb.

Rather than start a discussion on the topic, I'm off to see what else is on TV other than the United game.

Sorry, i neglected Mata. I have Ramsey, Aguero, Mata, Evra, Azpi, Rooney, Noone, Collins all out for me!!!! Beat that!:mad:

    This week has destroyed me.

Count me in the banjoed club too, -8 to bring in wellback vidic and adam johnson(one pointer so far taken off on 58mins ffs!), wellback was a gamble that i thought might not start but i thought hed get between 60-90 mins over course of both games, not even in the squad tonight is a killer.

Good old Giggsy ****ing things up!

Only thing that will save this is vidic coming on to score a pen or a header!

    mata doing nothing please aswell.

It also means im down more players next week, have about 4 players playing next week and that includes two arsenal lads prob going to be rested.

Ha if there is a peno, Giggs will probably come on straight away to get the record of scoring in every season :)

As bas as the line up is - I have Rooney and Mata (brought it for gerrard and Suarez:rolleyes:), I do have De Gea and Bruce :pac:

The only thing that makes me happy having only 1 of 3 of my united playing is that rival has 0 out of 3 playing :-)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 415 ✭✭TaytoCrisps

Giggs Vidic and RVP will be the most likely subs to come in, i doubt mata will see any gametime :( 3 united players this week and 4pts

i saw this lineup on my fotmob app, and thought "lol, someone's bein a troller". alas no!! captain mata may come on and do the same trick he did as a sub last time. in all seriousness tho half of that lineup looks like "who's for the chop" in terms of next season, the other half giving a few youngsters a chance. giggs should know better than to upset his fpl management brethren.

@premierleague: Man United coach Nicky Butt: "We've given the young lads a chance - it's been like that right through the history of Man Utd." #MUNHUL

On Rory's point earlier: if someone is close enough to your score that they overtake you in the last couple of weeks of the season then they can hardly be called a 'clueless idiot'.

I say that as someone with Mata(c) and after I took a -8 to get RVP in. Fantasy Football is not an exact science.

So pissed off at that United team.

Mata as captain was an epic fail.

I'd expect that Vidic, Giggs and RVP will be the three subs.

It could be worse imagine saving your wildcard for this GW.

    Has Jones just gone off?

you think Giggs would be arrogant enough as to sub himself on? Vidic i can understand, but why he didn't start him i don't know. RVP likewise i can understand. hope mata gets a run out, but yeah not particularly hopeful when you put it like that

Soft enough from Jones. Seen harder shoulder checks in the Tipp match the other day. So far it's looking like a 0-0
