Made this point earlier today. Villa are completely erratic but more often than not have been poor all season.
Palace are a force since Pullis took over. You know what to expect from them.

I've said it all along City won't pick up 6 from the last two

I can't decide which would be best for them, though I suppose maybe the win v Villa and only needing a draw v West Ham seems the best bet

I am playing with the idea that they would be better off drawing tonight so that they know they have to go and win v West Ham, no thought of playing for a draw.

Doubt they would anyway, just ramblings really

Palace were shockingly bad v City

I expect City to roll over Villa, I also expected them to roll over them earlier this season, if there is one thing City excel at it is bottling it

They nearly did though, except we bottled it worse!

They are the kings of letting their supporters down historically, hard to shake the idea they will **** up :)

City not getting 4 points from Villa and West Ham (both playing for nothing) at home would be a failing of epic proportions - if anything Liverpool could even slip up against a terrible Newcastle side if City with tomorrow night...

If Van Gaal is going to be there I wouldn't be surprised to see our strongest lineup put out to let him see weaknesses

Ya as Gary Neville said Villa are capable of getting some daft results.

Citeh always find ways to make their fans suffer.....
They have a history of this type of grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory
    So it could happen!!!

He's going to be there tonight? Surely we'd make the announcement first.

To be honest, if Van Gaal isn't already aware of our weaknesses he shouldn't be getting the job. The last manager didn't seem to and ended up wasting time giving guys their chance in training.

Where did you hear LVG is supposed to be attending this evenings game?

The last guy actually definitely knew the weaknesses, he just didnt address them properly, or at all in the case of left back

    Encouraging news from Kagawa's agent.
Kroth: "He doesn't feel bad at Manchester United, so I see no reason to talk about him leaving." #MUFC

Hopefully LvG will utilise him properly and we'll see the real Kags next season.

Scary comments from Giggs in the programme tonight about not buying into the theory that loads of new players are needed and current ones need to be shipped out.

Won't be up to him though.

I'm not really surprised though, he's won trophies with all those players and is obviously a bit sentimental about them.

Van Gaal will have different ideas I would imagine.

I've a headache from reading the match thread already. Will be staying well clear I think.

...and Anders Lindegaard thinks Giggs could be the next Pep Guardiola.

    More evidence we need LVG.

I think putting "The Champions" in the thread title has rubbed some people up the wrong way ;)

That would be pretty alarming alright, any proof/link to back that up?

Like the look of that team. Lawrence deffo deserves that start after his performance on Friday night. Bit more energy in that line up
