Best solution for Windows games

    I've recently got back in to gaming and I'm finding that a lot of games are still 'Windows-only', especially on Steam. I bought a game on Steam last night only to find out (should've checked beforehand!) that it won't work on OSX. So now I'm looking to find the best solution financially and performance-wise, for playing Windows games on my MBP.

    I was recommend to try Wine as a solution but that doesn't seem to be working for me. The other option is Boostrap, Parallels etc. Anyone have any experience and what's the cost in setting it up? Will I need to buy a separate Windows license or will that come with the app?

    Bootcamp will always give the best performance. Even with games made for both, almost anything graphically intensive will perform better on Windows.

    Its a pain to switch between the OS' but Bootcamp is the best imo. You will need a windows license, Bootcamp itself is free & built in to OSX. Its just like installing Windows, Bootcamp should setup the partition for you (mostly) . Make sure you install the driver Bootcamp gives you though.
