vodafone broadband - eircom line rental?.

My friends house has an eircom phone socket. he asked me if he gets vodafone broadband will he have to pay line rental to eircom. vodafone have no line rental he says. anyone know?

Line rental is built into the vodafone price.

the price you see on the Vodafone site is the price including the line rental. There is no further payment to eircom

hi anyone know what the discount for pensioners is on their eircom line rental ? and will this discount transfer to vodafone price ???/

Is there still a discount, was it taken in cutbacks?

The free line rental is gone.
When it was there it applied to all operators.

my parents had all those pensioner discounts yet always ended up paying more than I did. The bills were the most confusing things from eircom
